France exported 1.52 million tonnes of common wheat in February. Algeria was once again the largest buyer of French wheat at 309,000 tonnes.
Exports to destinations outside the EU reached a volume of 641,000 tonnes. In the current marketing year 2017/18, exports totaled 4.94 million tonnes.
Soft wheat exports within the EU continued to exceed deliveries outside the Union. In February, 883,000 tons of wheat were exported to other EU countries. In the current marketing year 2017/18 there are a total of 5.55 million tons.
