The French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer has once again by 2015/16, ended the 30.06.16, raised its forecast of the French soft wheat exports in the marketing year increases. Exports outside the European Union were estimated at 12.8 million tonnes. Previously it had been expected with exports of 12.4 million tons. The highest exports were achieved with 12.9 million tonnes in the marketing year 2010/11. It is estimated exports within the EU to 7.7 million tonnes (June forecast: 7.5 million tonnes; 2014/15: 8.0 million tonnes)
The monthly forecast supply and demand shows a surplus of 3.3 million tons at the end of the marketing period 2015/16 previously was expected with a surplus of 3.5 million tons.
FranceAgriMer increased prognosis of French maize stocks at the end of the marketing period 2.6 million tons from 2.5 million tons in 2015/16. 2015/16 corn production was estimated at 13.6 million tons previously 13.1 million tons.
The prognosis of French barley stocks was also increased from 751.000 tonnes to 822.000 tonnes.
