The soft wheat harvest in France, the largest wheat producer in the EU, has very different qualities. This is a preliminary estimate of the French agricultural consulting firm FranceAgriMer.
The quality report shows that 65% of soft wheat has a protein content of about 12.5%. Only 6% of the crop has a protein content of less than 11.5%.
Protein contents of weak income to tend to rise. Wheat stocks in France suffered severe, long-lasting rains late May / early June and harvest fall out about less than 30%, than the harvest in 2015.
The report continues to show that 79% indicates above case numbers of the harvest of 240 seconds versus 95% last year.
