In France, this year's maize harvest was completed on November 22nd on 97% of the land. A week ago the harvest progress was 91%. The harvesting work is still behind the pace of last year at the same time. This is what FranceAgriMer reports in its weekly report.
The winter wheat sowing is also coming to an end. In the meantime, sowing has been completed on 97% of the planned areas (previous week: 93%). 99% of the accrued winter wheat stocks recently received the top rating “good to excellent” (unchanged from the previous week).
The winter gesture sowing in France is almost complete with a sowing progress of 99% (previous week: 97%). 99% of the accrued winter barley stands also received the top rating (unchanged from the previous week).
Durum wheat sowing in France was 79% complete as of November 22nd (previous week: 56%).
