FranceAgriMer announces this morning that corn sowing in France will be completed on April 30 at 57% of planned land. In the previous week, the sowing rate was 33%, compared to 84% a year ago.
The condition of winter wheat stocks has meanwhile improved slightly. FranceAgriMer was rated "good to excellent" for 78% of its holdings (previous week: 77%). In winter barley, the condition has therefore improved a bit. 74% of the stocks received the top rating versus 73% in the previous week. For the summer barley it is 80% (previous week: 81%).
