France: Spring barley is sown on 16% of the planned areas

French farmers have ordered 16% of the areas planned for summer barley sowing as of February 10, reports the French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer. Sowing progress was 14% in the previous week and 12% a year ago at the same time. FranceAgriMer also reports that 65% of French winter wheat stocks are in top condition. The value is stable compared to the previous week, but is significantly lower than a year ago (85%).
