The condition of winter wheat stocks in France has deteriorated in the past week, reports the agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer. As of March 9, 63% of the holdings received the top rating "good to excellent". This is a 1% decrease from the previous week. At the same time last year, 85% of winter wheat stocks were in top condition.
Summer barley sowing has been completed on 34% of the planned areas and has made only marginal progress with one percentage point compared to the previous week (34%). In comparison, 96% of the planned space had already been ordered at the same time last year.
