The French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer awards the top rating "good to excellent" as of 12 March, only for 80% of the French winter wheat stocks. Last week, 81% of the holdings received the top credit. The ratings of winter barley are also declining. 78% of the stocks were in top condition, compared to 79% in the previous week.
The ratings for durum wheat, however, developed positively. 77% of the stocks received the best rating, after 75% in the previous week. The summer barley sowing took place on 35% of the planned areas (previous week: 30%, previous year: 39%).
