The French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer awards the top rating "good to excellent" as of 2 April for 78% of French winter wheat stocks. This is unchanged from the previous week.
The ratings of winter barley decreased by 1%. 74% of the stocks were therefore in top condition.
The summer barley sowing in France is still far behind the level last year. It took place on 78% of planned land (last week: 67%). At the same time, 99% of the planned space had already been ordered last year. The wet cold winter weather in France led to delays.
