A grain delivery to unload in the northern France Dunkirk arrives next week that has been loaded in Bulgaria. The ship's cargo of 33,500 tons of wheat was loaded in the Bulgarian Black Sea port of Varna. This is an unusual procedure and shows that France has a higher import demand due to the adverse weather conditions this year, as in "normal" years. France is the largest wheat producer in the EU, the country imported only small amounts of wheat. Supplies from Bulgaria are rare.
In July, it was reported that a large delivery is expected wheat from Romania in the second half of August.
