The French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer estimates that in France as of April 23, corn is placed at 33% of planned land. Although this is a significant advance on the previous week, when just 6% of the areas were ordered, in the past year, however, already 72% of the areas had been ordered.
The state of French winter wheat stocks has worsened again. 77% of the stocks received the top rating "good to excellent" (previous week: 78%).
For winter and summer barley ratings remained unchanged at 73% "good to excellent" for winter barley and 81% for spring barley.
