The French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer increased its forecast of French common wheat exports to destinations outside the European Union from 12.6 million tons to 12.7 million tons last month. It was the sixth consecutive monthly increase. FranceAgriMer left the forecast of wheat stocks at the end of the 2019/20 season unchanged from the previous month at 2.4 million tons, because the reduced forecast of feed wheat consumption compensated for the higher exports.
The forecast of the final barley stocks in 2019/20 reduced the company in a monthly comparison from 2.0 million tons to 1.8 million tons due to lower expectations for barley exports within the EU. The expectation of corn stocks at the end of the season was increased from 2.2 million tons to 2.3 million tons.
