The French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer has increased its forecast for French wheat exports to destinations outside the EU in 2019/20 from 12.7 million tons (March forecast) to 13.2 million tons. This raised the forecast for the seventh time in a row. The latest forecast is 36.5% above the amount exported last season. If this were realized, the forecast would exceed the record result of 12.9 million tons shipped to destinations outside the EU during a export embargo in Russia in 2010/11. FranceAgriMer estimates the wheat stocks at the end of the 2019/20 season on June 30 at 2.6 million tons after having been revised from revised 2.4 million tons to 2.8 million tons in the previous month. FranceAgriMer estimated France's final barley stocks from 1.8 million tons in March to 1.9 million tons. The company now estimates the final corn stocks at 2.4 million tons (previous month: 2.3 million tons).
