France's grain harvest even smaller than expected

The French Ministry of Agriculture is today lowering its estimate for this year's maize harvest, which is currently underway. In September, 14.1 million tons were assumed and now it should be 13.5 million tons.
The estimate for the 2020 wheat harvest was also revised downwards. Estimated from 29.5 million tons in September to 29.2 million tons now.
The 2020 barley harvest in France is now estimated at 10.5 million tons, after 11 million tons, which was estimated in September.
