The latest publication by the French Ministry of Agriculture showed that the area under rapeseed is set to increase to 1.16 million hectares. Above all, the high price level is an incentive for cultivation. Compared to the previous year, the area would increase by almost 18%. Winter wheat, on the other hand, is less cultivated, with a decline of 4.3% (4.75 million hectares).
