Germany imports another 400,000 tonnes of feed wheat

Due to the weak harvest in Germany, German importers have bought another 400,000 tons of feed wheat from countries in the EU and the Black Sea region in recent weeks. This is reported by European dealers this afternoon. Together with 300,000 to 400,000 tons of wheat purchased in July, the volume thus increases to around 800,000 tons.
Germany is traditionally one of the leading wheat exporters. The dryness this summer, which causes a sharp decline in the German wheat harvest, leads to this unusual situation.
