With a total of 399,800 tons of US wheat, weekly US export sales were in line with market expectations of 300,000 - 850,000 tons. The Taiwan-Millers Association bought around 220,000 tons of ground wheat from the United States for delivery in June, July and August. Saudi Arabia's grain buyer SAGO launched a tender to purchase 655,000 wheat with 12.5% protein for delivery in July and August. Institutional investors bought 1,500 lots of CBoT SRW wheat yesterday. This morning the e-CBoT is acting a little more firmly. Wheat prices closed inconsistently at Euronext in Paris. The expiring front month of May suffered significant losses. The main topic is currently the water deficit in large parts of Europe and the Black Sea region. In Germany and Poland, the currently strong exports support prices. For standard wheat with 12% protein for delivery in April in Hamburg, sellers demand a premium of € 6.50 / to above the Matif Mai future.
