By the beginning of this week, 21.22 million tons of common wheat from the European Union had been sold to third countries. Germany sold 33,137 tons of wheat , 108 tons of wheat flour and 106 tons of barley and 460 tons of corn in the past week. 777 tons of malt complete the statistics. EU exports of 3.4 million tons of corn are offset by 14.56 million tons of corn imports. EU statistics for barley on 9.3. an export volume of 5.046 million tons. In terms of barley exports, Germany is high on the volume statistics. The main customers for barley are Saudi Arabia and China, followed by Morocco.
