Wheat prices in Chicago ended the first trading day of the week because of technical sales, global supply location and poor export demand for U.S. wheat losses. Funds increased their holdings of net short positions to 6,000 lots CBoT SRW wheat. The hour is the eCBoT with further losses. Wheat prices on the Euronext in Paris could not evade the downward pressure from overseas and also closed with losses. The crop-monitoring service of the EU MARS reduced its forecast of average soft wheat yields in the EU to 5.86 tonnes / ha (previous month: 6.10 tons / ha). The forecast for France was reduced to 6.56 tons / ha (previous month: 7,37 tons / ha). Russia expects a wheat crop under 110 million tons this year. Export potential is up to 40 million tonnes of wheat (+ 2 million tons the previous year).
