Increased Spreadaktivitäten to the September due date of the soft red winter wheat on the yesterday's trading day led to slight losses in Chicago. Traders expect that the CME increases the storage costs for wheat in the next month. Funds increased their holdings of net short positions to 1,500 slots CBoT SRW wheat.
The hour is the eCBoT moderate premiums. Wheat prices on the Euronext in Paris could recover after 2 days with hefty losses and closed significantly tighter. They benefited in particular from the weaker euro to the U.S. dollar and the forecast of weaker corn yields in the United States.
