A histrorisch small U.S. winter wheat acreage as well as positive requirements of the soybean and corn complex left yesterday in Chicago to close the wheat prices with good serves. The USDA published yesterday current forecasts for the US and Weltendbeständen, to U.S. quarter stocks and to the non-U.S. winter wheat acreage. The latter was estimated at 32.4 million acres (previous year 36.1 million acres). In advance, analysts expected only a reduction on 34.1 million acres. The forecasts of U.S. and Weltweizenendbestände were increased. With 391,000 tons of U.S. wheat were the weekly U.S. export sales in line with market expectations. At the hour the eCBoT is weaker. On Euronext Paris, the Weizenfutures could benefit from the good requirements from overseas and end the trading day with slight gains after initial losses. The euro rose sharply and prevented a stronger increase in the wheat. European traders reported exports in a volume of 292,000 tonnes of common wheat for the period of the 04.01.17 up to the 10.01.17. Together with wheat flour, durum and durum Grist, exports to 14.49 million tonnes versus 14.45 million tons totaled in the marketing year 2015/16.
