The International Grains Council (IGC) today raised its forecast for global corn production in the 2020/21 marketing period due to better prospects for harvests in the United States and China.
In the monthly update, the corn crop forecast was raised by 11 million tons to 1.169 billion tons. The IGC increased the forecast of wheat production from 764 million tons to 766 million tons.
