IGC lowers forecast for 2020/21 global corn harvest

The International Grains Council (IGC) on Thursday cut its forecast for global corn production in the 2020/21 season, partly due to poorer prospects for the US crop.
In its monthly update, the intergovernmental body reduced its global forecast for the corn harvest by 6 million tons to 1.16 billion tons.
IGC stuck to its forecast for 2020/21 world wheat production of 763 million tons.
