One week before the last trading day for the April 18 futures on processed potatoes, the index calculated by EEX rose again to € 5.5 / dt.
Decisive for the increase were the German and Dutch quotations.
In Germany, the processing raw material costs on average now 7.12 € / dt, which is 49 cents / dt more than in the previous week.
In Holland, the reported price is 6.78 € / dt, an increase of 29 cents the previous week.
Far drop off are the price reports from Belgium and France:
The Belgian price for processed potatoes remained at 4.05 € / dt this week, unchanged from the previous week.
In France, where only prices for the Bintje variety are included in the Market Pointer, potato prices remain at € 3.8 / dt.
