Private analyst firm Informa Economics has increased its forecast of US soybean acreage in 2018 to 91.5 million acres, unconfirmed (previous forecast: 91.197 million acres). If achieved, this would be a record-setting area. The forecast of total US wheat acreage increased Informa by 300,000 acres to 46.1 million acres. The forecast for US corn acreage was reduced from 89.179 million acres to 88.9 million acres.
