The approaching Christmas business is making itself felt. This is also shown by the course of today's Internet pig exchange. At the auction of the internet pig exchange on Friday, 720 pigs in 6 lots out of 870 offered pigs in 5 lots were sold at an average price of 1.97 Euro/kg SG. That's +3 cents compared to the last auction on Tuesday. A batch of 150 pigs could not be sold. The trading range was 1.96 to 1.99 euros.
