State-owned Iranian feed importer SLAL has tendered an international tender to buy up to 180,000 tonnes of feed barley.
Offers can be submitted until the 12th of February and should be valid until 13th of February.
Only qualities from the European Union, Russia or Ukraine are wanted. Each 60,000 tons should in the period 20.-26. February 27th - March 6th and March 6th - March 12th.
SLAL's previous two tenders for the purchase of up to 200,000 tonnes of feed barley and 200,000 tonnes of corn ended in December without a deal.
Tendering for large tenders launched in September and July 2017 failed due to the lack of guarantees from international banks. For the currently launched tender you again need a guarantee.
