Iraq is seeking 50,000 tonnes of Canadian, Australian or US-derived wheat in an international tender process. The Ministry of Commerce told the news service Reuters. The offer period ends on 14 May and the offers must be valid until May 20.
The Iraqi grain exchange today announced that more than 300,000 tonnes of wheat have been purchased on the local market so far this season.
