The two shortened slaughter weeks are noticeable at the slaughter pig market. The disposition is largely already completed, corresponding to a few lots were traded today on the Internet pig exchange. We expect the price to remain stable tomorrow. Although the butchers have reduced their demand because of the Easter holidays, the bottom line is that the market remains balanced with a small supply. At today's auction of the Internet pig exchange, 1,920 pigs in 11 lots sold a total of 640 pigs in 4 lots at an average price of 2.40 €/kg (that's 3 cents compared to the auction on Friday) . The trading range was 2.39 to 2.41 euros/kg.
