Jordan State grain buyer has purchased 50,000 hard milling wheat of optional origin. Up to 100,000 tons were written out.
Wheat was bought at a price of over $204 / ton c & f. The dispatch is intended for the second half of February. Seller is the trading firm Ameropa.
In the past, Jordan had problems to get offered wheat on the world market because the quality, delivery and payment terms were unattractive for suppliers. On June 17, it is said from Government sources, Jordan has revised its import conditions and attractive for sellers.
