Jordan buys 60,000 tons of wheat

Jordan's state grain buyer has purchased 60,000 tons of wheat of optional origin for delivery in the second half of July as part of an international tender process. According to traders, the price was $232.50/ton. The tender was for 120,000 tons of hard milling wheat. Other bids were at $238.21/ton c&f (CHS), $238.30/ton c&f (Cerealcom Dolj), $254.48/ton c&f (Agro Chirnogi) and $270/ton c&f (GP Global).
