Jordan State grain buyer has once again an international tender for the purchase of 100,000 tonnes of feed barley of optional origin written out. The deadline for offers is on August 24.
This tender was expected by the market, after in the last tender, only 50,000 tons were bought instead of 100,000 tonnes, which were requested.
The country in Southwest Asia has problems to get offers at fair prices for his requests, after new import conditions deter the sellers including the international large trading houses for wheat and feed barley. This usually causes that the remaining providers at relatively high prices offered, which must then be rejected by the buyer.
Also in the last tender for 100,000 tons of wheat, all offers were rejected last week.
