Jordan's state-run grain buyer bought 60,000 tons of durum wheat from optional sources in a tender that closed today.
It was purchased from trading house CHS at an estimated price of $ 327.00 per tonne c & f for shipment in the first half of August 2022.
Traders said four other trading houses were bidding on $ 352.30, Anderson's $ 341.45, Ameropa $ 340.30, and Agro- Chirnogi $ 332.50.
Jordan is expected to publish a new tender for 120,000 tons of wheat in the coming days. The next tender is to be closed on January 5th and delivery will take place in the full months of July and August 2022, market circles reported.
