Kazakhstan: grain export potential at 9 million tonnes

Kazakhstan is expecting a grain harvest of 20 million tonnes this year. According to Minister of Agriculture Umirzak Shukeyev, 9 million tons of grain would be available for export at a government meeting this Tuesday.
Last year, Kazakhstan harvested 21.9 million tonnes of grain. To date, 11.2 million tonnes of grain have been harvested this year. One year ago, it was 12.6 million tonnes at the same time.
