Less corn and more soybeans in the United States

U.S. farmers plan a smaller corn acreage in favor of soybeans next year. This was today announced by the USDA.
According to the just released estimates of the USDA farmers in the United States be ordered 90 million acres of corn in 2017. 4.5 million acres are less than in this year. The soybean acreage is extended, however, 83.7 million acres this year to 85.5 million acres in the coming year.
A detailed report, also on the long-term planning of cultivation (next 10 years) in the United States, is to be published in February.
