Trading on the local cash markets continues to be quiet. Market observers assume that a large part of the old harvest has now been sold. The willingness to sell the quantities that are still available is low. Many producers are hoping for rising prices and are holding back their grain accordingly. In the meantime, however, gaps in the supply are being filled with French goods. Fodder wheat is currently traded at 288 euros/ton in Hamburg. Bread wheat is only slightly higher at 290 euros/ton.
