After the CBoT soybean futures prices fell in the last four sessions, today's trading day begins with a small price gain. Meanwhile, the future is at its lowest level since early October; Rain in Argentina gives hope for another big soybean harvest.
A La Nina weather has caused the corn belt around Buenos Aires to dry up for weeks. Now, however, precipitation has fallen and the farmers can continue sowing the oilseeds.
Therefore, there is little upside potential for soybeans, especially as Brazil is expecting a bumper crop and stocks in the US are huge.
