Russia had made this a condition for a further extension. For its part, Ukraine responded to the Russian conditions by demanding a prisoner exchange. Mills obviously do not have flour sales as in other years, at the same time many bakers are reducing their baking activities or have given up their business altogether because of the increased energy prices. In the case of feed wheat, the lower pig and sow stocks in Germany are becoming more and more noticeable in the trade. The CBoT, on the other hand, went north. In particular, surprisingly strong US wheat export sales provided tailwind. Compared to the previous week, the sold quantities of wheat increased by 148 percent.
