Prices on both sides of the Atlantic increased yesterday. The November date in Paris rose by EUR 4 per tonne and is now above the EUR 300 per tonne mark again. In the USA, all trading dates were also able to increase. The condition assessments of the USDA were primarily responsible for the price increase at the CBoT. 67 percent of the corn stocks are in good or very good condition. That is three percent less than in the previous week and also a little more than the analysts had expected in advance. However, Midwest weather forecasts are limiting the price hike. Slightly cooler temperatures and precipitation are forecast. Brazil's AgRual upgraded its forecast for Brazilian corn production this season. Pre-market, the CBoT shows slightly weaker price tendencies.
