Maize almost unchanged

Due to a lack of guidance from the US corn market, Euronext corn also lacked momentum and guidance yesterday. Mixed, mostly unchanged, the contracts in Paris closed yesterday Monday. Rainfall is forecast for some parts of Germany today. In addition, the temperatures continue to cool down. Here, as in other European countries, there are signs of an early maize harvest. In the south of Lower Saxony, for example, silage maize is already being increasingly chopped, but a quick start of the harvest is also expected for more northern areas so that the maize is not brought in too dry. The USDA will release the new crop report this afternoon. It is eagerly awaited how the USDA will currently assess the condition of the corn plants in the US growing regions.
