Maize in Paris still above the 300 euro mark

It was mixed for the corn contracts on the Matif on yesterday's trading day. The most traded June date lost EUR 4.00, but remains above the EUR 300 per tonne mark. On the cash markets in Germany, grain corn prices have recently increased again significantly. Grain maize as feed grain in Südoldenburg is currently quoted at EUR 354.00/t. On the CBoT, prices jumped from the profit zone to the loss zone and back again, but mostly ended the day yesterday with losses. The weekly ethanol production is currently only marginally affecting trade, both production and inventories have recently fallen.
