Everywhere in Central and Western Europe one hears of quality problems with stored potatoes. When temperatures rise again in the coming days, it will be hard to control the many troubled stocks. Farmers look after their harvest with great care and the buyers of the factories make every effort to win critical lots from the contract farmers. In addition, there are still many games that can not stand in provisional warehouses low freezing temperatures. Farmers are pushing for more sales. The offer has therefore not become smaller in these days. At the same time, many factories will be on holiday holidays because their product warehouses are full. All this indicates that the market for processed potatoes remains difficult for the time being.
