MARS expects smaller wheat and barley yields for the EU in 2020

The EU monitoring service MARS published its first grain yield estimate this year.
After that, the winter wheat yield would come to 5.88 tons per hectare, which would be 2.1% less than in the previous year. Winter barley yields would be 4.85 tons / hectare (-2.8%) and rapeseed yields would be 6.8% higher and would come to 3.18 tons / hectare.
