Its forecast of average wheat yields 2016in of the European Union unchanged on 6,11 tons per hectare leaving the crop monitoring service which has EU (MARS). The new forecast is 2.6% below the previous year's result, but 4.8% above the 5-year average.
In the barley (summer and winter barley) the forecast slightly increased 4.94 tons per hectare to 4.99 tons per hectare.
The forecast of the corn yields was also increased by 7.06 tons per hectare on 7.31 metric tons per hectare.
