There was little movement in the corn futures on Euronext/Matif on Friday. While the front month closed unchanged, the two subsequent dates June and August increased marginally. On the CBoT, contracts recovered from Thursday's losses. Rainfall for South America had sent prices south, but on Friday there was a realization that the drought could return very quickly. In addition, the previous drought has probably already caused significant damage to the stocks. Prices on the cash markets in Germany are mostly stable. There will be no trading on the CBoT today due to a public holiday.
