Due to the limited slaughtering, the buyers are reluctant, especially since the supply is currently sufficient everywhere to meet the demand. In some regions there are even reports of slight overhangs, so that the marketing of the animals ready for slaughter takes more time and the mood is also clouded. For the current week, the "Association of Producer Associations for Livestock and Meat" gives an average AutoFOM price factor (median), the "association price" of €1.20/index point (which is +0 cents compared to the previous week) in a range of 1 €.20 to €1.23; the corresponding FOM base price is €1.20/kg slaughter weight. The price for slaughter sows is €0.60/kg. The range is 0.60 - 0.63 €/kg (that is -0.03 €/kg compared to the previous week).
