Russia is currently not planning to introduce tariffs on wheat exports. This is reported by the Interfax news service, referring to the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev. The tariffs are currently set to "0".
When the Russian ruble's exchange rate against the US dollar fell last week, market participants were concerned that the wheat prices listed in rubles would rise. In order not to fuel inflation in Russia, proposals have been made to restrict exports by introducing an export tariff.
So far there are no signs of this.
