A group of importers in the Philippines is said to have rejected all offers and not made a purchase in a tender for up to 300,000 tons of wheat and 125,000 tons of feed barley that ended yesterday, European traders said in their initial assessments of the result.
The prices were considered too high.
The tender comprised around five consignments of wheat of up to 60,000 tons and five consignments of barley of up to 25,000 tons from Australia, the United States, the Black Sea region, the European Union or Canada.
