Like grain prices, Euronext rapeseed had to go through a severe price correction on Friday. The front month recorded the strongest loss from EUR 36.50/ton to EUR 727/ton. On the Chicago Stock Exchange, oilseeds were unable to break away from the bearish environment and posted significant losses. On a weekly basis, however, soybeans gained 1.2%. In premarket electronic trading, the beans are currently making profits again. In addition to the Ukraine/Russia conflict, market participants are also looking again at the growing conditions in Argentina and Brazil. Furthermore, it is too dry and too warm. According to the USDA, US soybean sales totaled 1.232 million tons and remain at a high level. Two further sales were also confirmed. 285,000 tons to an unknown destination, and 334,000 tons to China.
