Once again significant setbacks in rapeseed

After the significant losses on Friday, the rapeseed contracts in Paris also started yesterday with significant discounts. The November contract lost 11.50 euros/t and was at 433.25 euros/t at the closing bell. The situation on the cash markets remains clear; spot prices at the wholesale level also fell at the start of the week. This means that local prices follow the weak conditions in the soy market and Canadian canola. On the ICE, canola went south by Can$21.90 to $742/ton (equivalent to €515.50/t) in November. The harvest on the Canadian prairies continues to make good progress. Hardly any precipitation and temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius allow the farmers to make rapid progress.
